Our favorite element of LeadMagic is that it really gets into the nitty-gritty: their founder, Jesse Oulette, is incredible at digging for the newest and most effective data points to use in outbound copy and intent.

Commonroom is an intent signal aggregator that creates maps of prospects' activity across all of your channels. We almost think of it as Clay but for sourcing intent data- a medium by which you interact with the plethora of technology in the space.

La Growth Machine (they're French, hence the name) is a true multi-channel tool that doesn't seem to take any shortcuts. They currently have email, LinkedIn, and Twitter functionality, and are constantly adding new features. They also have a LinkedIn voice notes feature, which we've found to be very effective with our LI campaigns so far. If you want to get fancy, LGM is the tool to do it with.

Lemlist has a TON of features, but their multi-channel functionality remains some of the best on the market. Lemlist currently supports email, phone, and LinkedIn functionality and their ability to add advanced conditions and super robust custom flows is what differentiates them the most,.

Anthropic is an AI safety and research company that's working to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems.
1. Twain
While we don't recommend using AI to write copy just yet, if you're going to, Twain is easily the best on the market. If you don't have a strong copywriter on your team or access to one through your network, we would highly recommend you check it out. It's ridiculously cheap to use, generates copy that follows many industry best practices, and overall can write better than 80% of outbound people we've seen. Our guess is that while it isn't better than the best copywriter you know, it'll be there soon, and at the very least is worth keeping your eye on.

2. Anthropic
Anthropic isn't made specifically for email copywriting, but across the board we've seen it write far better copy (when prompted correctly) than models like OpenAI or Gemini. If you're trying to build your own copywriter to emulate what you've been doing manually, we suggest attempting to do so with their LLMs.

Sendspark is one of the hot new tools on the block that seems to actually be worth the hype- they've found a way to create engaging, personalized videos that you can send at scale using tools like Clay. Their "dynamic" templates feature lets you create videos with the prospect's website in the background, and they can clone your voice to say the prospect's first name in a video. They're early to the AI video game, and I'm bullish on them continuing to ride the wave until the entire video is able to be personalized.

Dynapics is the easiest and most effective way to send personalized images at scale. You can create a template on the platform, then use their API to send images and text to that template to create thousands of custom images. We've used them in several campaigns, and the tool is a great way to make your messaging stand out from competition.

Ocean.io has easily the best company lookalikes function in the GTM space, bar none. They've scraped 300,000,000 websites, keyword indexed them all, and used AI to find lookalikes for any company on the web. They also have a lead sourcing tool that rivals (if not betters) Apollo's. They're an incredible B2B lead source and still deeply slept on.

3. Apollo
Apollo is a mainstay in the space, but still seems to keep up with the new players despite it's status as an "old" piece of tech. Their database is really solid for most B2B sectors, and their exports contain so many data points that sometimes it's worth just filtering down for the ones you want. Nonetheless, it's a great tech and one we would certainly recommend for lead sourcing in particular.

4. PhantomBuster
Phantombuster has a variety of robust scrapers (they call them "phantoms" that are difficult to find anywhere else on the internet. This includes LinkedIn engagement scrapers, event attendees, Instagram followers, and more. If your conventional scraping tool or chrome extension can't get it, it's worth checking PhantomBuster to see if they can help out.

5. Apify
In the same vein as Phantombuster, Apify has hundreds of incredible scraping scripts that help you source lists that would otherwise take hours of manual work. Even better, users can create their own scrapers so if you're looking to collect data from a popular platform, there is probably an Apify actor for it. If you connect it to Clay, you can have leads live-streaming into a table for campaigns that never need refilling.

Zapier is at the top of this list due to the ease of use- all of the other tools on here can essentially do the same thing, but it's unbelievably easy to make automations in Zapier, and for that it deserves the spot. While pricier, it takes very little time to put automations together so if you're willing to shoulder the increased cost, it can save you time and you can get back to the fun stuff.

2. Make
Make is a great middle ground to Zapier and N8N, as it's significantly less expensive than the former and way easier to use than the latter. It's a great way to create workflow automations and many automation experts that I've hired in the past use it as their tool of choice.

3. N8N
If you're willing to put the time into learning it, N8N is by far the cheapest automation tool on the market. It's nearly free other than hosting costs, and you can automate pretty much anything you want to within reason. We use it at the Kiln for nearly all of our automation, as it's great for technical training and super flexible.
